Quantity bundle

A quantity bundle allows you to set quantity breaks with multiple tiers so a customer gets a bigger discount on adding more items.

Note

A quantity bundle is available for the advanced plan.

Creating quantity bundle

Add a new page

Note

You can create up to 10 bundles.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Apps, and then choose Codify - Product Bundle from the list.
  2. Go to the Bundles page and click on Quantity Bundle.
  3. Click Create bundle and Enter the details given below.
    • Name: the bundle's name. This will not be displayed to customers.
    • Title: the title for your bundle that you want to display to the customers.
    • Display bundle for: this has two options.
      1. Specific products: a selection of products for which a bundle needs to be displayed.
      2. Specific collections: a selection of collections for which a bundle needs to be displayed in all products of the selected collections.
    • Discounts: the discount is applied based on the options that you've set. This includes the following fields:
      1. Discount type: a type of discount, This includes the following options:
        • If you want to add a percentage discount, select Percentage discount. For example, buy two and get 20% off.
        • If you want to add a fixed-amount discount, select Fixed discount. For example, buy two and get $20.00 off.
        • If you want to fix the price for multiple items, select Fixed price. For example, buy three for $200.00.
      2. Tiers: the levels you want to add for various discounts. You can add a maximum of three tiers. Each tier includes the following fields:
        • Minimum quantity: the minimum quantity required to apply a discount specified in the current tier.
        • Discount: the discount to be applied when a customer adds the quantity of products specified in the current tier.
        • Label: the label that you want to display for the current tier.
        • Tag (optional): a tag that you want to display for the current tier.
    • Bundle status: the status of a bundle, whether it is Active or Draft. If the status is Draft then a bundle will not be displayed and the discount will not be applied.
    • Additional class: a class that you want to add to the parent element of a bundle for any development purpose.

Edit a bundle

After you've created a bundle, you can edit it to change a discounts, products, and any other details.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Apps, and then choose Codify - Product Bundle from the list.
  2. Go to the Bundles page, click on Quantity Bundle, and click the name of the bundle that you want to change.
  3. Modify bundle details.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a bundle

If you no longer want to display a bundle, you can delete it. If you delete a bundle, it's permanently removed from the application. Deleted bundle can't be restored.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Apps, and then choose Codify - Product Bundle from the list.
  2. Go to the Bundles page and click on Quantity Bundle.
  3. In the list, click the remove button on the right side in the same row as the bundle that you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete.

Add a bundle widget to the page

After you’ve created a bundle, you can add it to the product page.

Steps:

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. In the first section, click on the Customize.
  3. Open a product template from the dropdown at the top center of the theme editor.
  4. Select Quantity Bundle, which is listed under the Apps.
  5. Optional: set the maximum width and adjust the top-bottom and left-right spacing of the bundle for desktop and mobile.
  6. Click on Save.

Customising settings

You can customise the design and content of a bundle. These changes will be applied to all quantity bundles.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Apps, and then choose Codify - Product Bundle from the list.
  2. Go to the Settings and click on Quantity Bundle.
  3. From the Design section, you can customise the button style, such as the border color, text color, background color, style in hover state, and background and text color of the tag that is displayed for a specific tier.
  4. From the Content section, you can customise the text for the add to cart button and the text for the variant label.
  5. Click Save.
